Why Stainless Steel?

Fabricated from 316L and 304L stainless steel, our products will endure the rigors of commercial use and require less maintenance than any other competitive construction material. When compared to Gunite® or concrete, the strength to weight and full load to weight ratios are so good that our vessels are superb for retrofitting pools to on grade or above grade floors or lightening the load of a new build floor system. In some instances, a stainless steel vessel will weigh as much as 200%–300% less than a similar size, shape, depth and finish concrete vessel.

No modern material is as cost justifiable for maintenance, longevity, corrosion resistance and long-term structural rigidity as stainless steel. According to the Specialty Steel Industry of North America, “the longevity of stainless is the result of the alloying composition and, therefore, it has a natural corrosion resistance.” The material will not delaminate, crack, peel, discolor, leak or require renewing finishes over the lifespan of the product.

When the vessel is properly maintained, a stainless steel aquatic vessel offers exceptional corrosion resistance and long-lasting aesthetic quality.

Advantages of Stainless Steel

  • Custom Design
  • CAD Engineering - exacting tolerances
  • Reduced weight load
  • Structural Integrity
  • Ability to generate shop drawings
  • Fast Installation
  • Unlikely/difficult installation locations
  • Longevity/Durability
  • Low maintenance
  • Hygienic/Non-Porous Surface
  • Modern Aesthetic Appearance
  • Ecologically Sound (“green”)
  • Never requires resurfacing or respraying
  • Will not deteriorate over time like other pool materials can. *

*When properly bonded & correct water chemistry is maintained, compared to a concrete or Gunite® pool vessel.
