Water Features
Negative Edge
Also known as an infinity edge or vanishing edge, a negative edge can be integrated into the design of a pool or hot tub to create a clean and modern look. With no visual barrier between the pool or hot tub and the surrounding environment, this design element allows bathers to become totally “immersed” in the view from within the vessel. A Negative Edge design is perfectly suited for a location where there is a water view, or installed in a position that places emphasis on the water features itself. Since the surface water and floating debris will “fall” over the Negative Edge on its way to the filtration system, there is no longer a need for a traditional skimmer box.
